We are an independent site, here to get your feedback on public services.
We want to give everyone the chance to say what they think about the UK's government services in an open, accessible forum.
We ask a simple, open question: Wouldn't it be better if...?
No. All the experiences posted here are sent to our partners in government at the Cabinet Office.
They pass them on to the UK Innovators Council for further study. Each meeting of the Council chooses one experience posted here.
From there, they work out how to change government policy to improve the experience, in the way suggested.
For example, the last meeting chose this experience about childminders.
We cover issues that relate to UK public services. So essentially, anything that the government and its policies could reasonably control.
There are 1200 different government agencies in the UK. With PublicExperience, you don't need to know who to talk to - just what you want to say.
You can express dissatisfaction, suggest ideas, or say thank you to care and service providers.
Once you have submitted your experience, we put it together with others, and pass it to our partners in government at the Cabinet Office and Innovators Council.
They look into all experiences further.
We may contact you again with a message from them if they would like more information. However, whether you reply is up to you.
We won't ever pass on your email address without your permission - see our privacy policy.
There are lots of way to get the issues you care about on the agenda.
We are funded by the Ministry of Justice through their Innovation Fund and hosted by mySociety.
PublicExperience is run by Emily, with technical support from Sam and Anna, based on an idea by William Heath.
To submit your experiences, please use our form. For general questions about the site, we'd love to hear from you at team@publicexperience.com.
